Crime: Thefts Include Copper Wire, Gold, Monitors, GPS

Chesterfield police report theft the past week.

Chesterfield police said:

THEFT

  • 15000 block Olive Boulevard, someone stole a GPS unit from an unlocked bus, April 20 -May 4.
  • At the same address as above, 15000 block Olive Boulevard, it was reported that someone stole prescription medication from a medical cart during a one-month period, March 25-May 7.
  • 13000 block Conway Road, a school reported that someone broke in and stole two computer monitors over the weekend, May 4-6.
  • 1000 block Chesterfield Pointe Parkway, victim reported the theft of a gold necklace from a jewelry box, between noon April 4 and noon May 2.
  • At school in the 300 block Woods Mill Road, a victim reported a cell phone was missing during the hour it was dropped on school property, May 5, 11am-noon.
  • 16000 block Swingley Ridge Road, copper wire was stolen from a construction site over six days, beginning April 24.
  • 17000 block North Outer Forty Road, someone broke the window of a car and took a radar detector, on April 27, sometime between 6 - 8pm.
  • 16000 block Chesterfield Manor Drive, a victim reported the theft of prescription sunglasses from an unlocked car, overnight, May 1-2.
  • 800 block Foxsprings Drive North, someone damaged a door lock on an apartment in trying to break in overnight, May 7-8.
