Delmar Gardens Employee Charged with Theft

Police said the 31-year-old male took a lockbox containing cash from a locked office.

An employee of Delmar Gardens of Chesterfield has been charged with stealing a lockbox containing cash from the nursing and rehabilitation center, according to Chesterfield Police.

Police said the suspect, a 31-year-old male, took the box from a locked office room that requires a key card for entry. It occurred sometime between July 8 and July 12.

The company conducted their own investigation after they discovered the lockbox was missing, police said. The total amount taken is listed as under $500.Β
