Driver Charged with Aggravated Assault in Chesterfield Accident
Police said a 27-year-old male was intoxicated when he injured another driver in an accident March 30 and then fled from the scene.
A 27-year-old male is being charged with aggravated assault after he caused an accident while allegedly driving drunk in Chesterfield.
The accident occurred March 30 at around 1:35 a.m. near the intersection of I-64 westbound and Timberlake Manor Drive, police said, and resulted in injuries for the driver of the other vehicle.
The subject then fled from the scene, but he was later located by law enforcement outside of Chesterfield.
