Firehouse Subs Donates ATV and Trailer to Monarch Fire District

The restaurant in Chesterfield is one of the newest and has a focus on supporting first responders.

Roger Herin, the fire marshal for the Chesterfield-based Monarch Fire Protection District, forwarded this note to Chesterfield Patch:

"The Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation has donated, and will dedicate a Polaris Ranger 6X6 800 all-terrain vehicle and a trailer to the Monarch Fire Protection District on Thursday at 2:30 p.m.

"The dedication ceremony will take place at Firehouse Subs located at 1649 Clarkson Road in Chesterfield.

"The vehicle is fitted with equipment to handle both fires and medical emergencies, and will be used for off-road incidents including medical emergencies along the many trails located in the Monarch Fire Protection District, as well as brush and grass fires.
