The Chesterfield Walmart is frequently the target of shoplifters, but the retail giant can also be the victim of inside jobs.
Last week, Chesterfield Police said they were pursuing charges against a former Walmart employee who allegedly stole more than $500 from the retailer’s Chesterfield location.
The incident occurred earlier this month when a 25-year-old male took cash from a register using false money orders, police said.
The suspect was arrested for felony larceny, since the amount taken exceeds $500.
