Former Employee Under Investigation for Downloading Client Data

The case involves a Chesterfield business and is under active investigation by police.

A former employee of a Chesterfield business may have illegally downloaded sensitive information just prior to resigning from his job last month.

The case is being actively investigated by the Chesterfield Police, who said the incident occurred sometime from April 18-21 in the 16000 block of Swingley Ridge Road.

The suspect in the case of electronic tampering is listed as a 48-year-old male. Police described the information taken by the man as “client data” belonging to the company.
