Hotel Guest Leaves Narcotics Behind After Checking Out

Chesterfield Police have identified the suspect, who is likely to face felony drug possession charges.

Chesterfield Police are searching for a 28-year-old male subject who checked out of a local hotel room and left behind narcotics and drug paraphernalia.

Police said the staff at the Homewood Suites in Chesterfield reported the incident after discovering several “suspicious items” in his room on May 4. The drugs have been turned over to a crime lab to for testing and identification.

The subject in the incident has been identified, police said, but he is not yet in custody. It is currently being investigated as a case of felony drug possession.
