Man Attacked Sister, Pointed Gun at Brother in Chesterfield, Police Say

Chesterfield Police said after his brothers threw him out for hitting their sister, Stephen Butler came back with a handgun.

A man hit and kicked his sister and pointed a handgun at his brother May 29 in the 14100 block of Baywood Villages Drive in Chesterfield, police said.

Stephen Butler, 56, of Eagle River, WI, was charged Wednesday with third-degree assault and unlawful use of a weapon.

Chesterfield Police said Butler quarreled with his sister, then pushed, punched and kicked her. Other brothers intervened and kicked Butler out of the house, police said.

However, Butler came back and pointed a 10mm Witness handgun at his brother as he walked toward him, police reported.

Bail for Butler was set at $7,500.
