Man Brandishes Knife During Fight at New Year's Eve Party

The suspect, a 21-year-old male, brought out the weapon after a physical fight had already started.

A fight at a New Year's Eve after-party in Chesterfield almost took a serious turn after one of the participants brandished a knife. 

The suspect was a 21-year-old male and according to police, he flourished the weapon after a physical fight was started at around 4:30 a.m., Jan. 1, in the 800 block of W. Chesterfield Parkway. 

No one was directly threatened and police said the case has now been sent to the St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney's Office for review.
