Man on Probation for Weapons Conviction Charged With Firearm Possession

Chesterfield Police said Peter G. O'Toole had a 9mm handgun in his car during a traffic stop.

A Wildwood man faces a felony weapons charge after Chesterfield Police pulled hem over Monday.

Peter Grillion O’Toole, 29, of the 700 block of Wild Horse Valley Road in Wildwood, was charged Tuesday with unlawful possession of a firearm.

O’Toole is on probation after pleading guilty in 2011 to unlawful use of a firearm in Ballwin.

Chesterfield Police said an officer stopped O’Toole Monday on a traffic stop and found he had a Cobray M11 9mm handgun. As a convicted felon, O’Toole is banned from possessing a firearm.

Bond was set at $10,000, cash only for O’Toole.
