Man Pulls Knife During Pump-and-Run at Chesterfield Gas Station

The incident occurred Oct. 17 and was reported in the Chesterfield Police Department blotter.

Chesterfield Police are investigating a case of pump-and-run on Oct. 17 that almost turned violent.

The incident occurred at a service station in the 14000 block of Clayton Road at about 8:20 p.m. when an unknown subject pumped some gas and tried to leave without paying. According to a report in the Chesterfield Police Department blotter, when a witness confronted the subject, he brandished a knife and then left.Β 

Chesterfield Police Officer Mike Ryffel said he couldn't release any more information about the incident as detectives are currently searching for any possible leads on the crime.
