Monsanto Co. Arrest Nets Award for Police Officer

Quarterly recognition ceremony provides opportunity.

A police officer who made  theft was recently heralded for his good work on the case.

Creve Coeur Police Officer Neal Kohrs won a certificate of recognition from Police Chief Glenn Eidman in a ceremony this past month, over the November arrest.

Police said an employee at Monsanto was accused of stealing cleaning supplies, so he could run a side business. Prosecutors have not yet filed a charge in the case.

Kohrs was later recognized for his work on an annual golf tournament that raised an estimated $35,000 this year, for police officers shot in the line of duty.
