Pair Found with Heroin After Traffic Accident in Chesterfield

Police said the drugs were found during the course of their post-accident investigation.

A 21-year-old male and 20-year-old female are facing charges for felony drug possession after being involved in a traffic accident.Β 

Police said they found what was suspected to be heroin, marijuana and drug paraphernalia during the course of their investigation into the accident, which occurred Jan. 3 in the 300 block of E. Chesterfield Center.Β 

The driver of the vehicle was field-tested at the time of the incident but was not found to be impaired, according to police. The case is being handled by the St. Louis Prosecuting Attorney's Office.Β
