Police Blotter: Argument Over Babysitting Leads to Physical Violence

The following arrest information was supplied by the Chesterfield Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Jan. 12

Tampering with an auto, 13XXX Kingscross Lane – A 16-year-old male took his father’s vehicle without his permission.

Shoplifting, 1XX THF Boulevard – A 15-year-old female and a 14-year-old female concealed cell phones and Bluetooth sets and left a store without paying.

Assault, 13XX Wildhorse Meadows Drive – A 22-year-old female was intoxicated and struck her boyfriend and his parents after an argument over babysitting. No injuries were reported.

Liquor violation, 8XX Wellesley Place Drive – A 16-year-old male was found in possession of alcohol after a suspicious vehicle check.

Larceny, 16XXX Deveronne Circle – An unknown subject took the victim’s credit cards.  

Jan. 13

Larceny, 16XXX N. Outer 40 Road – An unknown subject took a coat containing a wallet, credit cards and cash from a locker room.

Jan. 14

Property damage, 13XXX Forestlac Drive – An unknown subject damaged the victim’s vehicle by breaking a window and scraping the undercarriage.

Shoplifting, 1XX THF Boulevard – A 34-year-old male put merchandise in a cart and attempted to walk out of a store without paying.

Jan. 15

Larceny, 15XXX Woodlet Way Court – An unknown subject entered the victim’s unlocked vehicle and took a jacket, change and a ring. The jacket was later recovered.

Insufficient funds check, 21XX Hunters Way Court – Sometime between Oct. 10 and Oct. 15, 2012, a 46-year-old female passed two insufficient funds checks to a business for remodeling work.

Larceny, 5XX Chesterfield Center – On Dec. 22, 2012, an unknown subject took the victim’s credit cards from the individual’s purse.

Larceny, 2XX Wildhorse Springs Court – Sometime between Dec. 1, 2012, and Jan. 2, 2013, an unknown subject took a license plate tab off of the victim’s vehicle.

Shoplifting, 1XX THF Boulevard – On Dec. 11, 2012, a 22-year-old male, 18-year-old male and 20-year-old female pushed a cart containing merchandise out of the store without attempting to pay.
