Police Blotter: Business Deal Gone Bad Leads to Fraud Allegations

Part two of this week's collection of incident reports from the Chesterfield Police Department.

The following arrest information was supplied by the Chesterfield Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Jan. 21

Stolen Vehicle, 7XX Spirit of St. Louis Boulevard – An unknown subject stole van from a business. It was later recovered in St. Louis City.

Larceny, 14XXX N. Outer 40 Road – Sometime between Jan. 21 and Jan. 22, an unknown subject took a ring valued at more than $500 from the victim.  

Liquor violation, 17XXX Chesterfield Airport Road – A 20-year-old male was intoxicated and in possession of a fake ID.

Property damage, 17XX Clarkson Road – An unknown subject broke out the window on the victim’s vehicle.

Jan. 22

Assault, 3XX Woods Mill Road – A 17-year-old male sent threatening text messages to an ex-girlfriend.

Fraud, 3XX Waverly Place Court – Sometime between Jan. 15 and Feb. 16, an unknown subject claimed to have been defrauded by a partner in a business investment.

Larceny, 15XXX Mill Run Court - Sometime between Jan. 12 and Jan. 19, an unknown subject took jewelry from victim’s apartment.

Larceny, 17XX Golden Lake Court - Sometime between Jan. 1 and Jan. 16, an unknown subject took a handgun from the victim’s vehicle.

Credit card fraud, 2XX W. Manor Drive – On Jan. 7, an unknown subject used the victim’s credit card information to make online purchases.

Shoplifting, 2XX Chesterfield Mall – On Jan. 15, a 17-year-old male concealed an X-Box video game console and a game and left a store without paying.

Credit card fraud, 4XX Equestrian Pointe Court – Sometime between Dec. 17, 2012, and Jan. 16, 2013, an unknown subject used the victim’s credit card information to make purchases.
