Police Blotter: Credit Cards Pilfered from Purse Used for Purchases

May 5

Drug possession, Baxter Rd. and Clarkson Rd. – A 18-year-old male was found in possession of marijuana after being arrested for a DWI.

Assault, 1100 Marcus Aurelius Walk – A 45-year-old female and a 52-year-old male assaulted each other after an argument over a cell phone. No injuries were reported.

Larceny (more than $500), 15000 Parasol Dr. – An unknown subject entered the victim’s unlocked vehicle and took change and a watch.

Larceny, 1600 Walpole Dr. – An unknown subject took money from the victim’s residence.

Shoplifting, 100 THF Blvd. – A 35-year-old female and 25-year-old male concealed clothing and left a store without paying. After being arrested, they were found in possession of narcotic paraphernalia.

Larceny, 17000 N. Outer 40 – An unknown subject broke out the window on the victim’s vehicle and took a radar detector.

Drug possession, 500 Chesterfield Ctr. – A 29-year-old female was found in possession of marijuana after being stopped on a suspicious vehicle check.   

Shoplifting, Four Seasons Shopping Ctr. – A 48-year-old female concealed food items and left a store without paying.

Larceny, 17000 N. Outer 40 – An unknown subject broke out the window on the victim’s vehicle and took a radar detector.

Larceny, 14000 N. Outer 40 – An unknown subject took the victim’s cell phone, which had been left unattended in a room.

Assault, 1700 Black Birch Dr. – A 17-year-old male struck his girlfriend in the face after an argument causing minor injuries.

Checks account closed, 17000 N. Outer 40 Rd. – On April 29, an unknown subject passed account closed check to business.

Checks insufficient funds, 14000 S. Outer 40 Rd. – On March 8, a 29-year-old male wrote an insufficient funds check to business.

Checks insufficient funds, 14000 S. Outer 40 Rd. – On March 7, a 29-year-old male wrote an insufficient funds check to business.

Larceny (more than $500), 15000 Claymoor Ct. – Sometime between Sept. 1, 2012, and May 5, 2013, an unknown subject took jewelry and sunglasses from a residence.

Fraud, 18000 Edison Ave. – On April 21, an unknown subject used the victim’s debit card to make a cash withdrawal.

Larceny, 14000 N. Outer 40 Rd. – Sometime between April 5 and April 18, an unknown subject took a credit card and cash out of the victim’s purse and used the credit card from purchases.

Fraud, 100 Chesterfield Valley Dr. – On April 27, an unknown subject used the victim’s credit card at a store after she lost her purse in another jurisdiction.

Larceny, 17000 Edison Ave. – An unknown subject took the victim’s purse and used credit cards belong to the victim for purchases.
