Police Blotter: Eggs Damage Several Vehicles

The Chesterfield Police blotter from June 6 to June 12.

The following information was supplied by the Chesterfield Police department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

June 6

  • A 15-year-old girl hit another student in the face with a book in the 300 block of Woods Mill Road.
  • Someone entered school property in the 17000 block of Wild Horse Creek Road. They broke three clay pots and climbed onto the roof. The incident occurred at about 11:40 p.m.
  • An egg was thrown at a vehicle in the 14000 block of Millbriar Circle. It damaged the driver's side mirror.
  • A payroll check was taken from a victim's mailbox in the 1100 block of North Woods Mill Road East. It was taken sometime between May 27 and June 6. The check was fraudulently cashed.
  • A 20-year-old woman shoplifted in Chesterfield Mall. She ran when she was confronted by the police, but was apprehended.
  • Someone broke a window of a vehicle and took a GPS unit from it while it was parked at Chesterfield Mall.
  • Police were called to 15000 Silent Creek Court in response to an ongoing dispute between neighbors over dogs running loose on each other's property and a yard stake that was removed and thrown into a driveway.

June 7
Someone entered an unlocked vehicle in the 2100 block of Willow Ridge Lane and took a camera, wallet, cash and credit cards.

June 8

  • A 30-year-old man shoved a victim after a confrontation over a road rage incident. The incident happened in the 15000 block of Olive Boulevard.
  • An egg was thrown at a vehicle parked in the 15000 block of Appalachian Trail. The vehicle's rear driver's side door was damaged.
  • Cash was taken from a purse that was in a locked office in the 15000 block of Olive Boulevard.

June 9

  • Someone broke a vehicle window and took a radar detector, shoes and cellphone charger in the 1200 block of Creve Coeur Crossing Lane.
  • A 56-year-old woman shoplifted from a store in the 1700 block of Clarkson Road.
  • A 17-year-old boy was a passenger in a vehicle that was stopped for a traffic violation near the intersection of RHL Drive and THF Boulevard. When the car was stopped, it was discovered the boy had alcohol.

June 10

  • A license plate was stolen. The incident was reported in the 16000 block of Lea Oak Court.
  • An 18-year-old man shoplifted from a store in Chesterfield Mall.
  • Some women hid purses in large bags and left a store in Chesterfield Mall without paying.

June 11

  • A 20-year-old man was intoxicated and had marijuana in Faust Park.
  • A 27-year-old woman took makeup from a store in the 40 block of THF Boulevard.
  • Two Apple iPads and a charger were taken from a room in a hotel on McBride and Son Center Drive.
  • A 19-year-old man was stopped for being in a suspicious vehicle near the intersection of Brook Hill and Brook Hill Ridge drives. It was discovered he had alcohol and marijuana.

June 12

  • Someone used golf carts to damage signs, a trash can and posts throughout the golf course in the 100 block of N Eatherton Road.
  • Someone attempted to enter a restaurant in the 1200 block of East Chesterfield Parkway overnight. The unknown suspect wasn't able to get in, but damaged a door hinge.
  • Cash and an iPod were taken from an unlocked vehicle in the 1300 block of Still House Creek Road overnight.
  • Police found a 28-year-old woman in possession of a car stolen from Enterprise Leasing in the 1600 block of Clarkson Road.
  • A door knob at a home in the 600 block of Broadmoor drive was damaged sometime between June 10 and June 12, but no one entered the home.
  • An 18-year-old man and a 21-year-old man tried to buy alcohol using someone else's credit card in the 1700 block of Clarkson Road.

Earlier
May 19
Someone bought a game system from a store in the 40 block of THF Boulevard. They later returned the game system to the store, but the box was empty.

May 29
Between May 27 and May 29, a 25-year-old woman took merchandise from her employer in the 1600 block of Clarkson Road by discounting items and taking returns brought in by customers.

June 4

  • A camera was taken from an unlocked vehicle in the 400 block of THF Boulevard.
  • A GPS unit, Blackberry, iPod, charger and credit card were taken from an unlocked vehicle in the 15000 block of Baxter Village Drive.

June 5
Someone broke a metal chain and lock at a store in the 100 block of THF Boulevard and took recycled batteries from the business.
