Police Blotter: Meat Taken From Freezer

The Chesterfield Police blotter from April 14 to May 4.

The following information was provided by the Chesterfield Police.

April 14

  • Several pieces of jewelry, valued at $8,500, were taken from an unoccupied home in the 16000 block of Walnut Hill Farm Drive.
  • A girl attempted to steal jewelry from the Macy’s in Chesterfield Mall.
  • Meat was taken from a freezer in the 200 block of Greentrails Drive.

April 15

  • A vehicle stolen in Edmundson, MO, was found in the 13000 block of Land O Woods Drive.
  • Juveniles brought in alcohol to a birthday party at Chili’s, in the 900 block of Chesterfield Center. Restaurant management noticed and called the police.

April 16

  • An evicted suspect is believed to have damaged a home in the 600 block of Thunderbird Court after moving out.
  • A man used stolen credit cards at three stores in the Chesterfield area The credit cards were stolen in Maryland Heights. The incident was reported In the 100 block of THF Boulevard.
  • During an argument, a woman hit a man in the face and kicked him in the groin while he was trying to hold her against her will. The man was taken into custody. The incident happened in the 900 block of Peach Hill Lane.
  • Chargers were taken from a vehicle in the 13000 block of Land O Woods Drive.

April 17
A juvenile was found in possession of alcohol in the 1200 block of Wildhorse Meadows Drive. The juvenile was released to his or her parents.

April 18

  • A computer was taken from a residence in the 15000 block of Hitchcock Road. The suspect stated that it was a prank and that the computer would be returned.
  • A window was broken at a home in the 100 block of High Valley Drive.

April 19

  • Sometime between July 19, 2010 and April 19, a 48-year-old woman made fraudulent returns to her employer in Chesterfield Mall in exchange for gift cards.
  • Overnight, someone removed a gym bag, shoes and a couple gift cards from an unlocked vehicle in the 15000 block of Country Ridge Drive.
  • A man was arrested for trespassing in the 16000 block of Cobbleskille Drive. He resisted arrest but was eventually taken into custody.

April 20

  • After being fired from his job, a man returned to the business in the 17000 block of Chesterfield Airport Road and took some equipment. He returned the equipment at a police officer’s request and was booked at the police station.
  • Police officers attempted to speak with a woman after she set off anti-theft sensors inside Chesterfield Mall. She became aggressive and fled the area at a high rate of speed with a small child lying unrestrained in the front seat. She is wanted for child endangerment.
  • Between March 1 and April 20, a 28-year-old woman stole jewelry and silverware from her in-laws and sold them for drugs. The incident was reported in the 13000 block of Coliseum Drive.

April 21

  • Two people were arrested for shoplifting from the Macy’s in Chesterfield Mall. A total of 33 items, valued at more than $930, were found.
  • Two students were involved at a fight at Parkway Central High School. Neither required medical attention.
  • A man called a home in the 15000 block of Ferncreek Drive and said he burglarized the house. The home had been burglarized.

April 22

  • A 20-year-old man and a 19-year-old woman hit each other after an altercation in the 1700 block of Black Birch Drive.
  • A 24-year-old woman had stolen merchandise that was being used to make fraudulent returns at a store in Chesterfield Mall.
  • Someone drove off without paying for gas at a gas station in the 1700 block of Clarkson Road.
  • Someone placed a large food order, but had it sent to an address that did not make the order. The incident was reported in the 1000 block of Chesterfield Parkway East.

April 23

  • Someone made harassing phone calls to a victim at a home in the 2000 block of Cannon Heights Drive.
  • A 28-year-old woman was missing from her home in the 13000 block of Coliseum Drive after sending her boyfriend a suicide letter.
  • A 20-year-old woman took merchandise from a store in Chesterfield Mall. When she was arrested, it was discovered she had taken merchandise from other stores, too.
  • A 17-year-old boy was stopped for a traffic violation near Clayton Road and Village Green Parkway when it was discovered he was in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
  • A credit card was used after it had been lost. The incident was reported in the 14000 Laketrails Court.

April 24

  • An 18-year-old man was stopped for a traffic violation in the 14000 block of Clayton Road when it was discovered he had alcohol. He was issued a minor-in-possession ticket.
  • Sometime overnight between April 23 and 24, a mailbox was damaged in the 15000 block of Cedarmill Drive.

April 25

  • An unknown subject took merchandise from a store in the 100 block of THF Boulevard.
  • An 18-year-old man and a 16-year-old boy took merchandise from a store in the 100 block of THF Boulevard.

April 26

  • A 18-year-old man was found to be in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. He was a passenger in a vehicle that was stopped for traffic near Schoettler and Georgetown roads.
  • An iPhone was taken after it was left at a restaurant in Chesterfield Mall.

April 27

  • A mailbox was damaged in the 14000 block of Rutland Circle.
  • A wallet containing cash was taken in the 14000 block of N Outer 40 Road. The wallet was later recovered.
  • A 43-year-old man took alcohol from a store in the 100 block of THF Boulevard.
  • A 13-year-old boy had a vial with an unknown substance at a school in the 400 block of Woods Mill Road.
  • A cellphone was taken from a locker room in the 300 block of Woods Mill Road.
  • An 18-year-old man made fraudulent returns to his employer in order to steal merchandise at a business in the 40 block of THF Boulevard.

April 28
A 55-year-old man was arrested on charges of driving while intoxicated in the 14000 block of Clayton Road. It was discovered that he was in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, too.

April 29

  • A patio umbrella was stolen from a home in the 13000 block of Land O Woods Drive.
  • A 35-year-old man stole power tools, a GPS and jewelry from his employer in the 600 block of Trade Center Boulevard.

May 1

  • Pool-cleaning items were taken from a garage in the 90 block of Heather View Drive.
  • A 56-year-old man assaulted his 51-year-old wife after an argument over taking items out of their home in the 2600 block of Joyceridge Drive.
  • A car was damaged while it was parked in a parking lot in the 300 block of Woods Mill Road.

May 2

  • A victim reported that an unknown subject had used his or her social security number. The incident was reported in the 15000 block of S Outer 40 Road.
  • A 43-year-old man was intoxicated and tried to force his way into a car in the 14000 block of Clayton Road.
  • A 35-year-old man continues to make harassing phone calls to his ex-girlfriend. The incident was reported in the 700 block of Finch Court.

May 3

  • A GPS and CD player were taken from a vehicle in the 400 block of Greenstone Drive. The theft took place sometime between April 28 and May 3.
  • A 43-year-old woman left a child unattended while at a gym across the street in the 800 block of Forest Trace Drive. The incident was referred to the Division of Family Services.
  • A 51-year-old female had stolen license plate tabs. The incident was reported near Eagle Bluff Court and Riverdale Drive.

May 4

  • A 17-year-old boy was found to be in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. He was a passenger in a car that was stopped for a traffic violation near Baxter and Clarkson roads.
  • A 19-year-old man was trespassing at Chesterfield Mall. He had previously been banned from the property.

December 2010

  • Jewelry was taken from a home in the 1500 block of Milbridge Drive.
  • On Dec. 23, a 28-year-old woman wrote a check on a closed account to a business in the Four Seasons Shopping Center.

March 20
A 39-year-old woman wrote a check to a business in the 17000 block of Chesterfield Airport Road for furniture. The check was returned because the account was closed. The incident was reclassified as stealing because the check was actually written to the wrong business.

March 30
A credit card was used to make fraudulent online out-of-state purchases. The incident was reported in the 400 block of Madewood Lane.

April 13
An unknown subject used another person’s social security number to file a fraudulent tax return. The incident was reported on Chesterfield Lakes Road.

April 1
Between March 12 and April 1, a 28-year-old woman took jewelry from her parents and sold it for cash. The incident was reported in the 15000 block of Cedarmill Drive.
