Police Blotter: Missing Bird Feeders, Impersonating Officials and Theft

The Chesterfield Police Blotter from March 28 to April 5.

March 28

  • An unknown suspect called a victim’s place of employment in the 14000 block of N. Outer 40 Road impersonating an investigator with the attorney general’s office.
  • An iPod was stolen from a victim’s book bag as she attended class in the 300 block of Woods Mill Road.

March 30

  • A suspect used a victim’s checking account to make fraudulent transactions in the 2700 block of Joyceridge Drive.
  • A 23-year-old female was found to be in possession of marijuana and paraphernalia after a traffic stop at Ladue Road and Wood Mills Road.
  • A 21-year-old male was found in possession of drug paraphernalia after a traffic stop.
  • In the 14000 block of North Outer 40 Road, a 26 year-old-male displayed and activated a Taser, threatening a fellow employee.
  • A 17-year-old male took four cans of beer out of a 12-pack and attempted to conceal them in his shorts and leave the store without paying in the 14000 block of Clayton Road.

March 31
A 23-year-old female took and used a victim’s unemployment benefits credit card in the 15000 block of Strollways Drive.

April 1

  • A suspect pumped gasoline in the 1700 block of Clarkson Road and left the gas station without attempting to pay.
  • A suspect made multiple calls to a workplace at the intersection of I64 and Timberlake Manor, during which he identified himself as Monarch Fire District Marshall James McKay and told the victim to correct safety problems at the work site. The victim later discovered that Marshall McKay did not make the calls.
  • In the 300 Block of Atwell Court, a 60-year-old male confronted a renter over late rent payments and allegedly struck the victim in the shoulder twice.
  • A suspect was caught making obscene phone calls in the 800 block of Chesterfield Parkway.

April 2

  • A vehicle was stolen in the 14000 block of Tramore Drive. An unknown suspect took the victim’s vehicle which was parked in the parking lot in front of his apartment.
  • Unknown suspects poured white paint on a sidewalk in the 1800 block of Aston Way. Suspects also put toilet paper and maple syrup on the property.
  • A 36 year old male was found to be in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia after a traffic stop near the intersection between the Four Seasons Shopping Center and Woods Mill Road.
  • An unknown suspect who was identified only as “Jay” pulled a gun on a victim at the intersection of Kingscross Lane and Woods Mill Road. The victim had refused to go inside of the suspect’s residence with him. She was able to escape and call police.
  • An unknown suspect took rings that were left on a table inside of a home in the 15000 block of Olive Boulevard.
  • An unknown suspect took mail from a mailbox, including a mortgage payment check, from a mailbox in the 300 block of Dungate Drive. The mail was later found discarded on Conway Road, along with mail from other addresses.

April 4

  • A suspect attempted to steal $70 worth of groceries from Dierbergs in the 1700 block of Clarkson Road. The suspect was arrested immediately.
  • A suspect attempted to steal $100.40 worth of merchandise from Macy’s in the Chesterfield Mall. The suspect was arrested immediately.  

April 5

  • Two 18-year-old females punched and kicked one another in a classroom in the 14000 block of Clayton Road. The two were reported to have an ongoing feud.
  • A 23-year-old male was found in possession of marijuana and paraphernalia after officers attempted to arrest him at his residence in the 15000 block of Country Ridge Drive.
  • A suspect entered an unlocked vehicle in the 1700 block of Black Birch Drive and took currency, gift cards, a knife and an iPod.
  • A victim reported multiple birdfeeders missing from a yard at 6 Oakland Hills Drive. There are currently no suspects.
