Police Blotter: Movie Theater Argument Leads to Physical Altercation

The following arrest information was supplied by the Chesterfield Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Feb. 27

Property damage, 3XX N. Woods Mill Rd. – An 18-year-old male keyed the victim’s car after an ongoing dispute.

Larceny, 4X Forum Shopping Ctr. – An unknown subject took the victim’s cell phone while it was left unattended on a counter.

March 1

Ex-parte violation, 1 Monarch Trace Ct. – A 24-year-old male violated the conditions of a court order of protection by texting his ex-girlfriend.

Ordinance violation, 14XXX S. Outer 40 Rd. – A 50-year-old male was picking up trash during prohibited work hours.

Larceny (over $500), 2XX S. Woods Mill Rd. – An unknown subject took the victim’s watch after it was left unattended in a waiting room.

Shoplifting, 9X Long Rd. – An unknown subject took alcohol and walked out of a store without paying.

March 2

Property damage, 17XXX N. Outer 40 Rd. – An unknown subject damaged football field by driving through it, causing damage to the turf.

March 3

Property damage, 14XXX Claymont Estates Dr. – An unknown subject damaged the victim’s vehicle by pouring paint thinner on the hood and spraying paint on the side. Police said it the incident involved students from a local high school.

Drug possession, N. Woods Mill Rd. and Pompeii Dr. – A 45-year-old male was found in possession of marijuana after being stopped for a traffic violation.

Assault, 30XX Chesterfield Mall – An unknown subject struck the victim in the face after an argument in a movie theater, causing minor injuries. Police said the fight occurred between teenagers. 

March 4

Larceny, 14XXX Clayton Rd. – An unknown subject pried the door on the victim’s vehicle and took a cell phone and an iPod.

Assault, 14XXX White Birch Valley Ln. – A 41-year-old male pushed and punched two victims after an argument, causing minor injuries.

March 5

Runaway juvenile, 13XXX Cantina Dr – A 16-year-old male ran away from home after getting in trouble at school.

Fraud, 3XX Hartwell Ct. – Sometime between Jan. 1 and March 2, an unknown subject used the victim’s information to open up Charter cable accounts.

Larceny, 2 Caprice Dr. – A citizen reported that license plates stolen sometime between May 1, 2012 and Feb. 7, 2013.
