Police blotter: Thief Takes $500 in Jewelry from Chesterfield Home

Editor's note: There were an unusually high number of fraud cases reported this week, which police suspect may be the result of a cyber attack at Schnucks. At this point, however, police said their investigation is still ongoing, but it is hard to say exactly how many be related.
April 7
Drug possession, 14000 Clayton Rd. – A 19-year-old male was found in possession of marijuana after being stopped for a suspicious vehicle check.

Drug possession, Highway 141 and Olive Blvd. – A 18-year-old male was found in possession of marijuana after being stopped for a traffic violation.
April 8

Larceny, 17000 Chesterfield Airport Rd. – An unknown subject took victim’s cell phone, which was left unattended on a table.
Tampering with a vehicle, 100 San Angelo Dr. - An unknown subject entered an unlocked vehicle and damaged the steering column in an attempt to take it.
April 9
Tampering with a vehicle, 14000 Ladue Rd. – An unknown subject broke out the window on a vehicle and damaged the steering column in an attempt to take it.
Tampering with a vehicle, 14000 Ladue Rd. – An unknown subject entered an unlocked vehicle and damaged the steering column in an attempt to take it.
Liquor violation, 1800 Lazy Ridge Ct. – A 17-year-old female was found in an intoxicated state and was transported to the hospital at the request of her parents.

Fraud, 200 Ridge Trail Dr – On April 2, an unknown subject used victim’s credit card information to make purchases.
Fraud, 14000 Greencastle Dr. - On April 2, an unknown subject used victim’s credit card information to make purchases.
Fraud, 800 Woodpointe Dr. - On April 1, an unknown subject used victim’s credit card information to make purchases.
Fraud, 200 Ridge Trail Dr. - On March 29, an unknown subject used victim’s credit card information to make purchases.
Fraud, 9 Georgetown Rd. – Sometime between March 31 and April 2, an unknown subject used victim’s credit card information to make purchases.
Fraud, 200 Glen Hollow Dr. – Sometime between March 19 and March 31, an unknown subject used victim’s credit card information to open up three credit accounts.
Larceny, 1500 Bedford Forge Ct. – On July 31, 2012, a citizen reported a stolen license plate.
Fraud, 2200 Sycamore Dr. – On March 24, an unknown subject used victim’s credit card information to make purchases.
Harassment, 2000 Tramore Ct. – On April 2, a 52-year-old female made a threatening phone call to the victim.
