Police Blotter: Traffic Stops Result in Pot Possession Charges

This week's collection of incident reports from the Chesterfield Police Department.

Dec. 5

Burglary – An unknown subject entered a school in the 200 block of Santa Maria Drive and took food items.

Larceny, person – An unknown subject took the victim’s credit card and attempted to use it for purchases in the 200 block of Woods Mill Road.

Shoplifting – A 24-year-old male and another unidentified male walked out of a store in the 100 block of THF Boulevard with a TV. The subjects ran after being confronted by security, but one of them was detained a short time later.

Gas drive off – An unknown subject pumped gasoline from a station in the 14000 block of Olive Boulevard and left without paying.

Fake ID – A 20-year-old male used a fake ID in an attempt to buy alcohol from a store in the 100 block of the Four Seasons Shopping Center.

Dec. 6

Larceny, business – A 20-year-old male and employee of the victim made fraudulent returns in exchange for store credit. The incident occurred in the Chesterfield Mall.

Larceny, person – An unknown subject took a trailer that was parked in the rear of a business in the 700 block of Crown Industrial Court.

Dec 7

Larceny, person – An unknown subject took cash and credit cards from a wallet which had been left in an unlocked locker in the 16000 block of Swingley Ridge Road.

Larceny, auto – A citizen reported their license plate stolen in the 1600 block of Wishwood Court.

Larceny, auto – A citizen reported their license plate tabs stolen in the 50 block of Forest Crest Drive.

Misdemeanor drug possession – A 21-year-old male in possession of marijuana while a passenger in a vehicle that was stopped for a traffic violation near the intersection of Highway 40 and Long Road.

Harassment – An unknown subject made a threatening phone call to a victim in the 700 block of North Goddard Avenue.

Larceny, auto – An unknown subject broke out the window of a vehicle in the 16000 block of N. Outer 40 Road and took a GPS unit.

Fraud – A 23-year-old male passed fraudulent checks to a bank in the 1700 block of Clarkson Road.

Larceny, person – An unknown subject took the victim’s wallet, which was left unattended on a counter in the 900 block of E. Chesterfield Parkway.

Dec. 8

Larceny, person – An unknown subject took the victim’s wallet, which was left in an unlocked employee locker in the Chesterfield Mall.

Misdemeanor drug possession – An 18-year-old male was found in possession of marijuana and paraphernalia after being stopped for a traffic violation at the intersection of Highway 40 and Route 141.

Identity theft – An unknown subject used the victim’s information to open up credit accounts. Incident occurred in the 2000 block of Claymills Drive.

Liquor violation – A 19-year-old male was found in possession of alcohol after being stopped for a DWI near the intersection of Clarkson Road, Drew Station Shopping Center and Lea Oak Drive.

Liquor violation – Two 16-year-old males were found in an intoxicated condition and out after curfew after knocking on a neighbor’s door in the 17000 block of Hillcrest Ridge Drive.

Dec. 9

Larceny, auto – An unknown subject pried open the door handle on a vehicle in the 16000 block of N. Outer 40 Road and took a wallet.

Larceny, auto – An unknown subjected damaged the door handle on a vehicle in the 16000 block of N. Outer 40 road and took a GPS unit and stereo system.

Larceny, auto – An unknown subject entered an unsecured vehicle in the 1700 block of Clarkson Road and took a purse containing credit and gift cards.

Trespassing – A 61-year-old female attempted to gain entry into the business, located in the 400 block of Chesterfield Center, of her former boyfriend after being told not to return.

Fraud – A 28-year-old male used his brother’s information to reactivate a cell phone account.

Dec. 10

Larceny, auto – An unknown subject took license plates off of a vehicle in the 16000 block of N. Outer 40 Road.

Larceny, auto – A citizen reported their license plate as stolen/missing in the 2000 block of Emerald Crest Court.

Dec. 11

Ordinance violation, other – A 24-year-old female and a 21-year-old female were found in possession of prohibited theft devices in Chesterfield Mall.

Shoplifting – A 19-year-old female and 15-year-old female concealed clothing and left a store in the Chesterfield mall without paying.

Misdemeanor drug possession – A 25-year-old male was found in possession of marijuana and paraphernalia after being stopped for a warrant check near the intersection of Ridge Lake Drive and Willow Lake Drive.

Identity theft – A 20-year-old female used the victim’s information in an attempt to open up a credit account. The incident occurred in the 900 block of Chesterfield Center.  

Report this week

Harassment/Threat Phone – On Nov. 19, the victim’s stepson made threats to the victim over the care of his mother. The incident occurred in the 600 block of Thunder Bird Court.

Fraud Identity Theft – On Oct. 4, an unknown subject used victim's information to open up credit account in the 1300 block of Countryside Manor Court.

Harassment – Sometime between Nov. 30 and Dec. 4, a 48-year-old male made numerous phone calls, texts and emails to a former employer in the 1800 block of Clarkson Road.
