Police Line-Up: Crime In Chesterfield

Crime reported this past week is from Chesterfield police.

Assualt:

Police said a 19-year-old man ended up with a head injury and was taken to an area hospital for treatment when he tried to hit a police officer while he was being booked for Driving While Intoxicated (DWI) at 3:25am on March 29, in the 600 block of Chesterfield Parkway. 

Someone approached a woman in a parking lot about 2pm, told her she was beautiful, and tried to kiss her, in the 70 section of Clarkson Wilson Center, on March 28.

A 19-year-old man punched a woman in the face during an argument, causing minor injuries, at 12:30pm on March 29, in the 16000 block Wild Horse Creek Road. Police described the victim as a "girlfriend."

Fire: A 11-year-old girl was found burning paper at school in Chesterfield, between 9am on March 13 and 4pm on March 14, police said.

Felony: A 41-year-old man bounced checks to pay the victim rent and utilities, in the 100 section of Hilltown Village Center

Larceny:

A mother dropping her kids off at daycare reported someone stole her purse from her unlocked car in the 200 block Chesterfield Business Parkway, within a 5-minute period on March 29. 

Someone stole a wallet with cash and credit cards from a victim's unlocked car, in the 2300 block Baxter Road, at about 4pm on March 29.

Someone stole a cell phone from the victim's unlocked car in the 2300 block Baxter Road, between 5:30 and 6:05pm on March 29.

Someone stole a different victim's purse, which was left unattended, in the 200 block of Woods Mill Road. Reported about noon on March 30.

A 19-year-old man didn't pay his taxi fare at 2:37am on March 29, after a ride to Baxter at Clarkson roads, police said.

Someone stole a ring highly valued by the victim, from the victim's house in the 600 block Claymont Estates Dr., during an 11-day period in late March.

Someone stole the victim's iPod from a car, in the 600 block Thunderbird Ct., between 2-4pm on April 1.

Burglary: 

A 23-year-old man and former employee of a Chesterfield Mall business, returned to the business and stole cash from the register, between 8 and 8:30am on April 1, police said.

Property damage:

Someone scratched victim's car in the 100 block MiniTree Ct., between 8pm April 1 and 9am April 2.

Someone threw eggs on numerous vehicles parked in the 400 block Stablestone Dr., between 10pm March 31 and 6am April 1.

Someone broke the rear window on a vehicle in the 15000 block of Clover Ridge Dr., between 8:30 and 10:40pm on March 30.

Animal ordinance violation:

A 36-year-old man left a dog alone in the car while he went into a store, in the 300 block THF Blvd. in Chesterfield Valley, at 3:10pm on April 1.
