Police Stop Man for DWI, Find a Gun and Pot Too

On Aug. 29, at Chesterfield Airport Road and Long Road, police arrested a 20-year-old man for possession of a firearm and marijuana after he was stopped on suspicion of DWI.

On Aug. 29, at 1 Monarch trace Court, police received a report that someone tried to use a person's credit cards without authorization.

On Aug. 29, at Mark Andy, in the 18000 block of Chesterfield Airport Road, someone damaged the door handle of a vehicle while trying to break in.

On Aug. 29, police received a report that someone broke the door lock on a car parked at the St. Louis Premium Outlets mall. The person took some spare change from the car. The same person also reportedly entered another unlocked vehicle, but didn't take anything.

On Aug. 28, in the 1300 block of Forestlac Drive, police said they received a report of an assault when a 19-year-old man punched and scratched the victim, causing minor injuries.

On Aug. 21, at the AT&T store in the Chesterfield Mall, someone shoplifted a cellphone.

Overnight on Aug. 9-10, police said someone stole jewelry from a home in the 1300 block of Amherst Terrace Way.Β 

On Aug. 28, in the 2200 block of Village Green Parkway, police recovered a stolen scooter, which had been stolen out of state, and was found in that apartment complex's parking lot.

Police reported last week that they arrested a 31-year-old man for passing bad checks in March at Brunswick Bowl in the Four Seasons Shopping Center in Chesterfield.
