Improper Drainage Leads to Flooded Yard
A Chesterfield man may have violated city ordinance earlier this week for improperly draining his pool.
Chesterfield police are reporting that a local man may have violated city ordinance when an attempt to drain a pool for the winter caused flooding in a neighboring property.
The incident occurred in the 16000 block of Meadow Oak Drive on Dec. 2 and caused "heavy flooding" in a neighbor's yard. Chesterfield Police said city ordinance requires that pools in the city must be drained propertly.
It's unlikely that the incident will result in criminal charges and was instead referred to city's zoning enforcement office.
