Shoplifter Threatened to Pull Knife on Walmart Employees, Police Say

Loss prevention personnel struggled with the man in the parking lot when he threatened them with using a knife, police said.

A man attempting to shoplift four packages of spark plugs faces first-degree robbery charges after threatening to pull a knife on Walmart security workers, police reported.

Brandon Wulf, 24, of the first block of Main Street in Orchard Farm, was charged Thursday with first-degree robbery.

Chesterfield Police said Wulf put four packages of spark plugs in his pocket at . at about 1:27 p.m. Nov. 27 and left the store without paying. Loss prevention personnel stopped Wulf on the parking lot and he struggled with the Walmart employees, police said.

During the struggle, Wulf threatened, “Don’t make me pull my knife on you guys,” and the workers released him. He was caught by police a short distance away. Wulf was filmed on video surveillance cameras.

Bail was set at $20,000 for Wulf.
