Shoplifter Threatened to Pull Knife on Walmart Employees, Police Say

Loss prevention personnel struggled with the man in the parking lot when he threatened them with using a knife, police said.

A man attempting to shoplift four packages of spark plugs faces first-degree robbery charges after threatening to pull a knife on Walmart security workers, police reported.

Brandon Wulf, 24, of the first block of Main Street in Orchard Farm, was charged Thursday with first-degree robbery.

Chesterfield Police said Wulf put four packages of spark plugs in his pocket at . at about 1:27 p.m. Nov. 27 and left the store without paying. Loss prevention personnel stopped Wulf on the parking lot and he struggled with the Walmart employees, police said.

During the struggle, Wulf threatened, β€œDon’t make me pull my knife on you guys,” and the workers released him. He was caught by police a short distance away. Wulf was filmed on video surveillance cameras.

Bail was set at $20,000 for Wulf.
