Student Arrested for Stealing from Cars at a Parkway West High School

Chesterfield Police described the suspect as a 17-year-old male.

Clarification: While initial police reports said the incident occurred at Parkway Central High School, Parkway School District officials have informed Patch that it took place at Parkway West High School. 

Cars at a high school in the Parkway School District  parking lot were the target of a thief last week arrested for raiding the vehicles for cash.

Chesterfield Police described the suspect as a 17-year-old student and said he had been charged with larceny. According to police, he was looking in vehicles at that had been left unlocked the property of Parkway West High School the morning of April 10 and then taking any cash he found.

The suspect was also found with marijuana and tobacco in his possession. Police did not release the identity of the individual due to his status as a minor.
