Thief Targets Children's Ride in Chesterfield Mall
The suspect took $60 from the ride's coin box.
The Chesterfield Police Department reported last week that an unknown suspect pilfered the coin box of a ride in the children's play area at Chesterfield Mall.
The incident occurred sometime between Oct. 1 and Oct. 9 and netted $60 in coins for the alleged theif, according to Chesterfield Police Officer Mike Ryffel.
"There was no forced entry so we suspect a key was used," Ryffel said.

The locks for the coin box have been changed and the Chesterfield Police Department is continuing to investigate the unlikely theft.
