Chesterfield's Fourth of July Celebration

The following information was taken from a press release from the City of Chesterfield:

Plan to take part in one of the largest fireworks display on July 4th in the St. Louis metro area in Chesterfield. In the spirit of community and civic pride, the City of Chesterfield will host its sixth annual Fourth of July Celebration and Fireworks Display on Monday.

This free event will be held on the parking lot of Chesterfield Mall on the northwest side, between Macy's and Dillard's. The main viewing area will include the Main Stage featuring the Blues Plus Band performing from 7-9:30 p.m.

Children's entertainment will begin at 6:30 p.m. with inflatables, a mime and a stilt walker performing throughout the evening. The fireworks display, presented by J & M Displays, begins at 9:30 p.m.

Attendees are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs or other seating for their comfort and ease of viewing. The display will be set up on land owned by Sachs Properties to the west of the viewing area.

Great local food vendors will be on site and patrons are invited to bring their own food and beverages. Ample parking is available around the mall; motorized vehicles of any kind are not allowed in the viewing area.

The following items will not be permitted at the event: glass bottles, aerosol cans, laser pens/pointers, weapons of any kind, illegal substances, barbeque grills, tents, fireworks, or pets (except for service animals).

This event has been made possible through a collaborative effort between the City of Chesterfield, Sachs Properties and Chesterfield Mall.
