New Drivers License Look to Decrease Identity Theft

Take a look at how future Missouri drivers licenses will appear.

Missouri Department of Revenue officials have begun issuing new driver licenses, non-driver identification cards, and temporary licenses in the Central Office, and soon will begin in the Jefferson City, Fulton, and California license offices.

The St. Louis and Kansas City regions will follow in January, according to information received by Eureka Police Chief Michael Wiegand.

License offices will be converted to the new process at the rate of about 15 offices per week. The roll-out should be complete in April 2013, departmental sources indicate.
