New Parks Program Designed to Help Families 'Get Active'

The partnership between the City of Chesterfield and St. Luke's Hospital will provide residents who join with information on health-focused events and activities.

The city of Chesterfield’s Parks and Recreation Department and St. Luke’s Hospital are partnering together to form “Get Active,” a program designed to provide opportunities for families to get active and healthy.

According to information on the city’s website, residents who become a part of Get Active will receive invitations to youth games at local parks, discounts to selected city events, invites to local health-focused programs and activities, and more.

The goal is to help residents better the community and create a healthy lifestyle for themselves and those around them. To join up, simply register online via the city’s website.
