After Weekend Ribbon Cutting, Route 141 Down to One Lane
MoDOT has taken the stretch of Route 141 between Parkway Central High School and St. Luke's Hospital down to one lane.
On Saturday morning county officials held a ribbon cutting on the new section of Route 141 that stretches from Ladue to Olive. There was a 10K run in the morning and thousands of people showed up .
Unfortunately, the road is not quite finished.
The said in a news release that although much of the new Route 141 opened this weekend, drivers can expect continued lane restrictions through the remainder of the project.

Currently, the Town and Country stretch of Route 141 between and is reduced to one lane and these restrictions are expected to last less than one month. MoDOT stated that this is so crews can remove the temporary bypass built to connect to Woods Mill Road and place new concrete for Route 141.

In addition, Woods Mill Road is also now closed from Parkway Central to St. Luke’s Hospital so crews can relocate Woods Mill and build the connection to Ladue. That closure is expected to last one month. Drivers needed to access Woods Mill Road from Route 141 are advised to take the new Route 141 north to Olive Boulevard, make a left on Olive Boulevard and then another left onto Woods Mill Road.
