Chesterfield Educator Named 'Principal of the Year'

Greg Bergner, assistant principal at Parkway Central Middle, has been named as the St. Louis Middle School Assistant Principal of the Year for the 2012-13 school year by the St. Louis Association of Secondary School Principals.

The St. Louis Association of Secondary School Principals (SASSP) surprised Bergner with the award as Parkway administrators congratulated Bergner, who was nominated by peers for the award.

Bergner received the congratulations from Parkway Superintendent Keith Marty, Deputy Superintendent Desi Kirchhofer, Central Middle Principal Mike Baugus, Central Middle Assistant Principal Randy Eikel and Carrie Lawton, intern.

Bergner was honored at an SASSP Awards Banquet on Thursday, April 25, at Sybergs Banquet Hall, 2430 Old Dorsett Road.
