AARP Driver Safety Program

The Chesterfield Police Department proudly announces a cooperative effort with the American Association of Retired Persons (AARP) in providing the “AARP Driver Safety Program” driver safety course.

AARP’s “AARP Driver Safety Program” is the nation’s first and largest classroom driver improvement course. It reviews the rules of the road with an emphasis on defensive driving practices.

The four-hour course is taught in a single morning session and does not involve a test.  AARP members can attend the course for a nominal fee of $12.00. Non-members can attend for a fee of $14.00.
