Dr. Mears, a researcher, presents internationally on topics related to Early Childhood growth and development, specifically in the areas of developmental neurology and autism. This session will discuss exactly what autism is, how our understanding of autism continues to progress and just why each of these amazing kids is so different.  As a researcher in the area of autism and the father of an autistic child, Dr. Mears will talk through the truth, the fads and the misunderstanding which surround autism.
