If You Have A Sophomore, Bring Pencils Tuesday

Parkway District high school 10th grade students take tests Tuesday.

All 10th grade students in the are scheduled to take standardized tests Tues., Sept. 20, in preparation for ACTβ€” achievement tests later. The test's acronym is PLAN.

The tests are held during second and fourth blocks of time during the school day. Testing room locations are posted in the school's counseling office.

Remind your students to bring No. 2 pencils and an calculator to school.

The tests are paid for by the district.

Also, registration for the PSAT (a precursor to the SAT tests for the potentially collegebound) is due Thurs., Sept. 22, for 10th and 11th grade students.

The optional test is given Wed., Oct. 12. The cost is $20, payable at the school store.
