Parkway's Ross Elementary Assistant Principal Leaving

The administrator will begin at Maplewood Richmond Heights School District on July 1.

Parkway School District's Ross Elementary School assistant principal Jason Adams is leaving to take a principal post with  July 1.

The announcement was made late Tuesday.

Adams will become principal at .

Adams was a teacher at Tillman Elementary School in the Kirkwood School District, prior to his Parkway district post at Ross Elementary.

Dr. Linda Henke, the MRH district superintendent, said in a news release she was pleased with the Adams hire and that the district “(has) the utmost confidence in (his) commitment to our students, our mission.”

Adams will graduate with his doctorate from Maryville University in December, and also holds both bachelor's and master's degrees in elementary education and a master's in educational leadership and administration from that institution.

Adams , who is leaving to work in the Webster Groves School District.

Adams was chosen after an extensive search that included parents, teachers and administrators, the release states.
