Marquette Seniors Celebrate Graduation Downtown
Marquette High School's Class of 2011 graduated Friday at Chaifetz Arena at Saint Louis University.
Seniors at Marquette High School made the trek into St. Louis City Friday evening to celebrate their graduation at Chaifetz Arena at St. Louis University.
Although it did rain during the ceremony, the skies cleared just as the event ended and the graduates and their familes spilled outside into the night air.
This year's class of Marquette seniors boasted 65 graduates with grade point averages of 4.0 or better, one perfect SAT score and eight National Merit Finalists. They also claimed the esoteric honor of producing a state championship ultimate frisbee team.
