Parkway Central's Colts Ride Rough Over Seckman

Seckman cannot contain Parkway Central receiver Brandon Sheperd, who scores five touchdowns.

Parkway Central's bigger, faster and more experienced football team clearly outmatched Seckman's younger team on Friday night by trouncing them 42-0, at Seckman Senior High School in Imperial, MO.

The game start time was delayed an hour until 8 p.m. to allow for possible cooling from the 99-degree heat of the day.

But Seckman's Jaguars could not contain Parkway Central's Brandon Sheperd, who alone scored five touchdowns. Sheperd ran for two, was on the receiving end for three more and ran another 42 yards only to be called back on a penalty. Shepard had 65 yards rushing and 87 receiving.

Sheperd’s touchdown runs came from 30 and 35 yards, as he simply raced past the helpless Jaguars defenders.

Seckman's Blake Pepper had a couple of nice runs and showed great speed getting to the outside but the swarming defense of Parkway Central kept him out of the end zone.

The Colts' Brandon Sheperd and Seckman's Blake Pepper played both ways—and seemed to be around the ball on every play. He finished with 36 yards on 15 carries.
