Parkway School District Launches Digital Art Gallery

Check out ParkwayArt.net

Chesterfield student artwork is now online in a virtual gallery launched by the Parkway School District, officials announced Thursday.

Through a cooperative effort between the district's fine arts coordinator and technology staff ParkwayArt.net was designed to provide more exposure to students' creative works and serve as a resource for local teachers and students, Parkway staff said.

"This type of gallery is unique and one of the first of its kind among school districts," Parkway spokesperson Cathy Kelly wrote. "We are very proud of the excellent work and accomplishments of our Parkway art students and staff."

The gallery represents students from every school in the district, and features styles ranging from drawing and painting to printmaking and digital media.

The online gallery is expected to be updated throughout the year, so be sure to check back and share your impressions.
