Parkway School District: Register Students Now For 2013-14 School Year

Parkway is reminding parents the first day of school is Aug. 13. Early registration is underway now and encouraged. Here's what you need to know.

The Parkway School District is reminding parents that if your children plan to attend a Parkway school for the 2013-14 school year, the time to register is now. 

The first day of school is Tuesday, Aug. 13 and early registration helps Parkway plan for staffing and classroom assignments, the district explained in a news release.

Registration for families new to the district for elementary, middle and high schools students takes place by appointment at Parkway’s Instructional Services Center (ISC) at 12657 Fee Fee Road, St. Louis, Mo 63146.  Make an appointment by clicking here

Visit the student enrollment webpage for a list of required documents and forms needed for enrollment (kindergarten-12), health forms and more.  Please bring your completed enrollment packet(s) and other supporting documentation with you to register.  Middle school and high school students should accompany parents when registering.

Registration hours at ISC are Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.  Questions?  Call the registration line at (314) 415-9900.

Kindergarten

Preschool & Kids Morning Out

Students must be 3 years old before Aug. 1, 2013, to enter preschool.  Parkway has six half-day and three full-day preschool sites available for 2013-14. There are options for one, two, three or four days per week, and an extended day option from noon to 2:30 p.m. at the Early Childhood Center site.

For younger children, Kids Morning Out may be a good alternative.  Children must be 2 years 6 months before Aug. 1, 2013 for Kids Morning Out.

Parents As Teacher is a free program available for parents of children from birth to 5 years old.
