Snowstorm Cancels School in Major West, Central St. Louis County Districts

Patch is partnering with Fox2 to bring you a list of school closings and early releases as a major winter storm rolls through the area Thursday.

UPDATED:

With the snowfall expected to start shortly after sunrise and then transform into icy rain as the day goes on, school cancellations are part of the forecast as well. 

Fox2 News will be helping Patch keep you informed of any cancellations in the West and Central St. Louis County area by adding them to the list below, which will be updated throughout the day.

These public school districts will be closed on Thursday:

  • Kirkwood School District
  • Ladue School District
  • Parkway School District
  • Pattonville School District
  • Rockwood School District
  • Webster Groves

Check with the closing information on Fox2Now.com for private school closings.

The Senior Social (scheduled for 11am for 2/21) at Eureka Parks and Recreation has also been canceled. Stay safe seniors!

Chaminade and De Smet Jesuit have also closed school for tomorrow.

St. John Lutheran School in Ellisville is also closed tomorrow.

St. Mark's Lutheran School in Eureka is closed tomorrow as well.

Community School in Ladue has a conference day, but is closing at 12:30.
