Cardinals Pro Visits Young Chesterfield Baseball Players

Pitcher Trevor Rosenthal signed autographs during a youth baseball camp held in Chesterfield Valley Tuesday.

St. Louis Cardinals pitcher Trevor Rosenthal stopped by a Chesterfield baseball camp at the city's athletic complex Tuesday, signing baseballs and provoking awe among the young players.

One such youngster, Logan Deakin, patiently waited his turn and then described meeting the pro player as "awesome."

The camp is one of many put on by Aaron Jaworowski, owner of the St. Louis batting company franchise Balls-n-Strikes. Jaworowski ran his first baseball camp 15 years ago when he was only 23.
