Colts Seize Inaugural 'Mayor's Cup' After Win over Parkway West

The award goes to the winner of the annual Parkway West-Parkway Central matchup.

We've got pictures from Friday night's football game between Parkway Central High — homecoming for the school — and the Parkway West Longhorns, which ended in a 49-0 win for the Colts.

Thanks to Patch reader Larry Lanius II for the pictures from the game at Central.

The victory sends the inaugural "Mayor's Cup" award to the Colts' trophy case for the year. The award was initiated this season as part of the city of Chesterfield's 25th anniversary celebration. It will be awarded annually to the winner of the annual matchup between Central and West — the only two high schools that sit within the boundaries of Chesterfield.

He grabbed one shot of the Colts' Augie Brooks busting through a tackle. Brooks was the start of the game, according the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, which reported that he rushed for 116 yards and four touchdowns in the rout, which left the Longhorns nursing a 0-4 start to Parkway Central's 4-0 record.

MaxPreps ranks Parkway Central 398 nationally and No. 6 in Missouri.
