Parkway West capped a rough football season witha 0-40 loss to Holt Thursday night in the first round of the Class 5 state playoffs.
The game got away from the Longhorns early, with Holt scoring four touchdowns in the first half. The defeat brought Parkway West to a 0-10 record overall for the season.
In other area football playoffs action, Parkway Central received a first-round bye Parkway Central has a first round bye, and will play Ft. Zumwalt South Oct. 31. Marquette plays tonight, facing off against Oakville at Oakville High School at 7 p.m.
