The MLB and FOX TV announced it's postponing Game 6 of the 2011 World Series in St. Louis until Thursday, 7:05pm in St. Louis.
Cardinals Manager Tony La Russa had no say in the postponement of Wednesday's World Series game, according to a tweet by BJ Rains, a St. Louis-based FOX sports writer. La Russa learned of it when Joe Torre called him about it, the tweet said.
Game 7, if needed, will be played Friday, 7:05pm in St. Louis.

The games were originally scheduled for Wednesday and Thursday, but evidently predictions for clear weather later in the week, in part, guided the change.

If Cardinals win the Series, a parade is set for Sunday, 4pm, downtown St. Louis, according to a tweet by The STLScoop.
