Butterfly Garden Takes Hold In Chesterfield Dog Park

Girl Scouts have success with volunteering.

A local Girl Scout troop based in Chesterfield has had success with planting and tending a butterfly garden in a corner of the city's newest park—Eberwein—also known as the dog park.

And it looks like a big box of water was delivered to a visible corner of the park last month, after the Scouts planted the garden at Highcroft and Old Baxter Road.

Community garden beds are also at the park, near the parking lot, which has water hookups.

The dog run also has a cool water feature for its clients (well, only in the big dog area) somewhat like a small bubbling brook.
