Make Plans Now for Chesterfield's Giant July 4th Celebration

Make plans now to take part in the largest fireworks display on July 4th in the St. Louis metro area, in Chesterfield.

In the spirit of community and civic pride, the City of Chesterfield will host its seventh annual Fourth of July Celebration and Fireworks Display on Wednesday, July 4.

This free event will be held on the parking lot of Chesterfield Mall on the northwest side, between Macy's and Dillard's. 

The main viewing area will include the Main Stage beginning with the youth winners from the West County Talent Bash starting at 6:00 p.m.

Platinum Rock Legends Band starts their performance at 7:15 p.m. This band features exaggerated impersonations of many iconic 70s, 80s, and 90s rock stars such as Journey, Bon-Jovi, Queen, and Joan Jett. The talented cast of actors, singers and musicians not only accurately re-create the live sight and sound of the original rock acts, but exploit the characteristics of the original artists with a comedic twist.

Children's entertainment will be from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. with bounce houses; which include a giant slide, tropical toddler town, Dino bounce house and obstacle courses.

There will be midway games for all ages with prizes and airbrush tattoos.

Also a stilt walker/juggler will perform beginning at 8:00 p.m. The fireworks display, presented by J & M Displays, begins at 9:30 p.m. 

Great local food vendors will be on site featuring "The Best of St. Louis" foods such as pork steaks, toasted ravioli, hamburgers, cotton candy, kettle korn and other great food for the 4th of July.

Patrons are invited to bring their own food and beverages.

The following items will not be permitted at the event: glass bottles, aerosol cans, laser pens/pointers, weapons of any kind, illegal substances, barbeque grills, tents, fireworks, or pets (except for service animals).

Attendees are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs or other seating for their comfort and ease of viewing.

The display will be set up on land owned by Sachs Properties to the west of the viewing area. Ample parking is available around the mall, as motorized vehicles of any kind are not allowed in the viewing area. 

This event has been made possible through a collaborative effort between the City of Chesterfield, Sachs Properties and Chesterfield Mall.

Directions: Highway 40/I-64 to Exit 19A-Chesterfield Parkway West. South on Chesterfield Parkway to Lydia Hill Drive or any entrance to Chesterfield Mall.
