Neighborhood Pool Needs Customers

Despite heat wave, Bridle Creek has only a handful of swimmers.

This neighborhood swimming pool (and tennis court) opened up membership several years ago to those outside the subdivision, yet on a 100-degree plus day, you'll still find the lifeguard watching over just a handful of customers.

A sign on the fence says joining for a season is $200 per family. It's located several blocks from the and . 

Bridle Creek renovated its main L-shaped pool several years ago, and also has a baby pool, lifeguards, soda machine, bathrooms, picnic tables—the usual. Closed Mondays for cleaning and private party rentals.

It has kids' swim teams, and on meet evenings it's way crowded and on-street parking only. Meets may be over for the season.
