The JCC outdoor pool, Marilyn Fox site in Chesterfield was still busy this last week before public schools start August 14. The "J" hours: Mon-Thurs 7am-8pm, Fri 7am-5:30pm, Sat-Sun 7am-5:30pm.
City of Chesterfield Family Aquatic Center, with a Leisure Poo and AquaPlay Unit, three slides, Splash Playground, Competition Pool, two diving boards and Lazy River. Here are the hours: Mon-Fri noon-4pm leisure pool only, 4-10pm everything open; Sat-Sun & holidays 10am-10pm.
Bridle Creek Bath and Tennis, like many smaller neighborhood facilities, also close by Labor Day, when it's harder and harder to keep lifeguards. Many are back to school. Pool hours also shorten. Here are Bridle Creek's: Closes September 3. Tues- Fri 11am -8pm, Sat- Sun 10am-8pm, closed Mon.
